Mismatched dimensions, ring groove specifications and compression ratio will directly cause cylinder scoring, severe oil burning, insufficient cylinder pressure and permanent engine damage.
6. Standard Installation & Operation Specifications
1. Before installation, thoroughly clean the engine block, cylinder head, oil galleries and water channels to remove carbon deposits, old gasket residues and metal debris, ensuring flat and clean assembly surfaces;
2. All gaskets and oil seals must be installed dry and dust-free. Do not apply excessive sealant to avoid oil gallery blockage and sealing failure;
3. Cylinder head bolts and bearing cap bolts must be tightened in full compliance with OEM torque sequence and standards. Violent or uneven tightening will cause gasket deformation and gas leakage;
4. Install piston rings with correct orientation and ring gap spacing, and arrange ring gaps in staggered positions as standard to prevent blow-by and oil burning;
5. After overhaul completion, run the engine at idle speed for more than 20 minutes for break-in. Do not operate under full load within the first 5 working hours. Replace engine oil and oil filter after 50 working hours to complete full engine running-in.
